in a Nutshell

Last fall, Women in Tech World (WiTWorld) launched a Canada-wide, community based research tour.

We conducted 31 Community Conversations with over 800 women and allies in tech nationwide, developing the largest qualitative data set of its kind in Canada.

Research, analyze + share.

10,000 connections

Reach over 10,000 people from diverse communities and sectors.

Playbooks

Create a set of Regional Playbooks to facilitate more inclusive and diverse tech communities.

National Report

We’ll publish a National Report on the experiences of women in tech in Canada.

Sharing our data

Share our data online and with the World Women Report by the State of Women reaching 85 million subscribers.

To our knowledge, this has never been done before in Canada.

There are smaller qualitative and quantitative studies and lots of anecdotal evidence of women’s experiences in tech, but no one has taken on a project of this magnitude or mandate.
